AutoCAD and general drawing management: internally, included drawings coordinating designer, technical, and graphics efforts into architectural facility plans & elevations for planning, fab and install communication within our team as well as through the GC, Architect, and sub-vendors. Created installation, engineering & fabrication packages as needed for the shop floor (including LADBS welding and building code standards) and the facility, installers & clientele, particularly regarding the location of artifact unit placement, events usage, exhibit display and storage. Constructed Audio, Video, Lighting, and Interactive integrated media control system drawing package to document the schematic/wiring/rack & equip. diagrams for the 3 separate floors of the renovated Petersen Automotive Museum; making the AVLI content for each gallery space trackable and thus updateable for each new exhibit.

Responsibilities as shop foreman: budgeting, purchasing, shipping material and processing for builds, routine maintenance of prop & shop equipment/inventory. Fabrication (steel & wood construction) & finish work for productions associated with the Los Angeles Music Center: Mark Taper Forum, Ahmanson & Kirk Douglas Theatres. Fabrication methods: SFX- blood knives, and firearm handling; to Carpentry, Steel work, Furniture Restoration, & Painting.
Responsibilities as on-site supervisor: crew coordination and safety in all facilities during fabrication, drafting of installation and shop drawings, shipping, installation & strike planning, processing of touring props/scenery, theatrical drapery and rigging stage preparation for all elements and lighting trusses for each production.

Aided in completion of component cataloging, schematic/wiring diagrams and panel layouts for automation & integrated media electrical control drawing packages. Drawing submittal preparation: Plotting, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word capabilities. Electronic communication with clientele/engineers through FTP sites, High Tail, Dropbox…etc. On-site survey & photo documentation preparation for Rigging Inspection Reports, to prepare written and photo documentation required as well as any supporting technical information/diagrams needed to explain any necessary repairs to the client.
